Donations

Presently, we financially support The Joy of Life ministry, with a minimum tithe of 10% from the church's 30% profit.  This tithe financially assists this ministry in their mission to assist children in our area.  The remaining funds are distributed at the discretion of the committee to other children's organizations.  We reserve a small portion for supplies needed for future sales as well as giving a portion of the profits to St. Paul's Children's programs as our way of offset the expenses of using the church.

We feel strongly about The Lil' Lamb's Closet and feel it is a “Win-Win” proposition for all involved.  The Staunton/Augusta County area benefits from the tithe, the community has the opportunity to purchase nice clothing at reasonable prices, the church benefits by providing this ministry to our community, and the sellers receive a 70% profit, which is 20 % more than if they were to sell on consignment at one of the local consignment stores.
